At Wyrd Mead, our brand focuses heavily on locally made, quality and delicious products. We make all of our mead using high quality Oregon honey. We only use real ingredients in our mead, so you won’t find anything such as high fructose corn syrup in our products. Sometimes natural separation occurs in our bottles, this is completely safe and good to drink.
Our flavors range based on the time of the year. Our flagship flavor, the Semi-Sweet Traditional, consists of just honey, water and yeast! In addition, we create melomels, metheglins, cysers, and more within the mead realm.
Within Portland, you can find our mead at a variety of bottle shops, bars, and restaurants such as John’s Marketplace, Belmont Station, Viking Soul Food, Hollywood Liquor, Oak Grove Liquor, and more!
We are currently able to ship to 40+ states on Vinoshipper, and in 2023 we are working hard on distributing to more places across the state.
Our mead is “Hobbit Approved” and was featured on The Friendship Onion podcast with Lord of the Rings stars Billy Boyd and Dominic Monaghan, where they drank a few of our meads for what was their first ever experience with the beverage.
